Rediscover the Poor Man's Entity Extraction in K2:
The Verity Extraction is a powerful way to enhance search relevance by providing access to additional metadata that is often embedded in the text of corporate documents. But some people who have used Verity K2 and earlier products might remember the TDE capability that has been around since the earliest releases of Verity products in 1989. By using this capability, you can often implement a 'poor man's extractor' to locate phone numbers, department names, and other readily identifiable metadata, in any application that uses mkvdk.
