Deep Web Technologies Powers Government Science Portal

Science.gov now offers a free and easy to use “Alert” service, created by Deep Web Technologies (DWT), that sends alerts to patron’s email each week based on their area of interest in science. This new service was launched at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, D.C.

From the Science.gov homepage (www.science.gov) individuals can set up a personalized Alerts account to make the search process one step shorter by allowing Science.gov to do the searching for them. Users can specify the subject area as well as specific sources for Science.gov to monitor for them.

Enterprise Search has been fortunate to have articles authored by Abe and Sol Lederman, founders of Deep Web Technologies, in our newsletters in January and June of 2004.

New Idea Engineering "Top 100 Companies that Matter"

New Idea Engineering was selected as one of the " Top 100 Companies that Matter" in Knowledge Management in its March 2005 issue. KM World Magazine selects companies whose products and services best meet the needs of their readership. We'd like to think that our innovative products SearchTrack, Search CheckUp, and SearchDQ, and our experience helping companies make enterprise search work, were all instrumental in our selection.
