Hiring: Q1 2007Summary:
We're looking for developers and implementers familiar with enterprise search
engine technology.
Help us design and implement better search solutions for our
Fortune 500 clients using the leading search engine solutions
on the market.
Technologies:
Search Technologies: Autonomy IDOL, Autonomy/Verity K2, Ultraseek,
FAST Search & Transfer FDS/ESP, IBM OmniFind/iPhrase, and/or Lucene.
Development environments: coding in Java, ASP, JSP, Python and/or
Perl.
Other technologies: SQL, document management and other enterprise software.
High proficiency with Windows and at least one Unix-based operating system; willingness to learn others.
Experience: Prefer 5 years of professional experience,
also customer-facing experience
Other Important Skills:
High quality of work, responsible, motivated
Self directed and able to focus; some self-directed learning will be expected.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to write some documentation and reports.
Customer presentable (friendly, professional, business casual attire)
Ability to occasionally travel
Location:
Projects vary nationwide, and usually require at least some element of
on-site project delivery. When feasible, work is often done via VPN
connection to clients, but that varies by contract.

Length of projects and rate vary with contract; travel expenses paid or
